When your group is too big for one sedan but too small for a Tempo Traveller, a 7-seater is the sensible middle ground. Our 7 passenger cars for rent are all from Toyota’s Innova range and every booking comes with a driver.

Who books a 7-seater
The usual reason is simple: two cars cost more than one larger car, and splitting up means someone always arrives late. Groups that tend to choose a seven seater car for rent include:
- Joint families going to a wedding, a temple or a weekend at a resort, with grandparents and children together.
- Friends on a road trip who want to share the drive and the conversation.
- Colleagues heading to a client site, an offsite or a factory visit outside the city.
- Visitors arriving at the airport together with heavy bags.

The 7-seaters in our fleet
We keep three 7-seater MPVs, all made by Toyota:
- Toyota Innova – the dependable workhorse and the most economical way to move a larger group. More on our Innova car rental page.

- Innova Hycross – the newest of the three, with a modern cabin and a quiet ride.
These are the only 7-seaters we offer. If you need more space, the next step up is a Tempo Traveller or a 21/24 seater mini bus.

Fitting people and bags
A 7-seater has three rows, and in a cab with driver one of those seats is the driver’s. That leaves six passenger seats. With every seat filled, boot space behind the last row is limited, so think about luggage before you settle on the vehicle:
- Six people, light bags – a good fit for a day trip or a short weekend.
- Four or five people, full suitcases – fold part of the third row and use the extra space for bags; a common setup for airport transfers and long holidays.
- Six people with big suitcases – consider a Tempo Traveller instead so nobody travels with bags on their lap.

Billing
How 7-seater hire is charged
For outstation trips, the rate for each model is in the table below. Round trips are billed on kilometres travelled, with a minimum of 300 km per day and a daily driver allowance. GST is included. Tolls, parking and hill-station charges are extra, as are interstate permit charges when you leave Karnataka. Airport transfer fares are confirmed when you book. Round trip, minimum 300 km per day. Fares are inclusive of GST, and the final bill is based on the actual distance travelled. Hill-station charges, interstate permits, state permits, tolls and parking are extra. One-way drop fares are confirmed when you book.

How many passengers fit in a 7-seater with driver?
Six, because the driver uses one seat. If everyone has large suitcases, plan for fewer people or choose a Tempo Traveller.
Is a 7-seater cheaper than booking two sedans?
