Pilgrimage route
Bangalore to Tirupati Cab
Plan your Tirumala visit around your darshan slot, not a bus timetable. A private cab from Bangalore takes your family or group to Tirupati, waits while you visit the temples, and brings you home.
The route
Driving from Bangalore to Tirupati
The usual route heads east through Hoskote and Kolar, then on through Chittoor to Tirupati, with the ghat road climbing to Tirumala. This is an interstate trip from Karnataka into Andhra Pradesh, so interstate permits, tolls and parking are charged in addition to the fare.
Distance and travel time vary with your exact pickup point, the route taken and traffic. Ask us when you book and we will help you plan your departure.
Plan your darshan
Planning a Tirumala trip
- Book darshan first: darshan tickets and accommodation at Tirumala are booked through the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Plan your cab timings around your slot.
- Leave a buffer: queues and checks on the ghat road can add time, so build in a margin.
- Weekends and festivals are busy: book your cab early for Brahmotsavam and holiday weekends.
