For one to four travellers, a sedan cab is usually the most sensible way to get around: comfortable enough for a long drive, compact enough for city lanes and the most economical car in our fleet. Choose a Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Toyota Etios or Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, always with a driver.
The cars
Dzire, Etios or Ciaz: what is the difference?
All three are four-door saloons with a separate boot, seating four passengers plus the driver. They differ mainly in size and comfort:
- Maruti Suzuki Dzire – compact and easy to manoeuvre in Bengaluru traffic. A practical pick for a couple or a solo traveller with a suitcase or two.
- Toyota Etios – known for a roomy cabin and a generous boot for its size, which makes it a long-time favourite for highway trips.
- Maruti Suzuki Ciaz – the largest of the three, with the most rear-seat space. A good choice for business travellers and elders who value legroom on long drives.

Uses
Where a sedan works well
Airport transfers. One or two people with check-in bags fit easily in any of our sedans. If you are a family of four with large suitcases, a Ciaz or an Innova airport taxi gives more breathing room. See our airport taxi pages for your area.
City hire. Sedans are the usual choice for our 8 hr / 80 km local package, whether for office visits, family errands or a day of sightseeing:

The base fare for the 8 hours / 80 km package is confirmed when you book. Usage beyond the package is charged at the extra-hour and extra-km rates above. Fares are inclusive of GST; tolls, parking and permit charges are extra.
Outstation trips. A sedan keeps the cost of a weekend trip down. Popular drives include Mysore, Chennai, Pondicherry and Hyderabad.
Billing
How sedan rental is charged
Outstation round trips are billed on kilometres travelled at the rate for your sedan, with a minimum of 300 km for each day plus a daily driver allowance. GST is included in the rates. Tolls, parking and hill-station charges are extra, and interstate permit charges are added when you travel into another state. One-way drops are quoted separately on our one-way taxi page, and airport fares are confirmed when you book.

When to choose a bigger car
A sedan seats four passengers. If you are five or more, or four with lots of luggage, an Innova from our 7-seater range is the next step up. For office teams and wedding guests, a Tempo Traveller or mini bus keeps the whole group together.

Getting the most from a sedan booking
Pack in soft bags where you can; they fit a sedan boot far more easily than two hard-shell suitcases. On outstation trips, plan breakfast and lunch stops with your driver before you set off so the day runs smoothly. If a fifth person might join at the last minute, tell us early, because switching to a larger car is much easier before the trip than on the morning of departure.

Is a sedan good for a trip to a hill station?
Yes, for small groups with moderate luggage. For long ghat sections with a full car and many bags, an Innova is more comfortable.
