Cab Fare in Bangalore: How Our Rates Work
Before you book a taxi you want to know what you will pay and why. This page explains how Shree Saagar Cabs works out the cab fare for outstation trips, local hire within Bengaluru and airport transfers, and which charges are added on top.
Outstation trips
Outstation fares: billed on kilometres travelled
For trips out of the city, the fare is worked out from the kilometres the car actually covers, multiplied by the rate for the vehicle you choose. A Dzire or Etios costs less to run than an Innova Crysta, so each vehicle has its own rate in the table below.
Two rules apply to every round trip:
- Minimum 300 km per day. If you travel fewer kilometres on a given day, that day is still billed as 300 km. A short drive to a nearby temple and back therefore costs the same as a 300 km day.
- Driver allowance. A fixed allowance is added for each day the driver is with you. The amount is shown in the table.
| Vehicle | Round-trip rate | Driver allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Maruti Suzuki Dzire (sedan) | ₹14 / km | ₹350 |
| Toyota Etios (sedan) | ₹14 / km | ₹350 |
| Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (sedan) | ₹14 / km | ₹350 |
| Toyota Innova | ₹16 / km | ₹400 |
| Toyota Innova Crysta | ₹22 / km | ₹400 |
| Toyota Innova Hycross | ₹25 / km | ₹400 |
| Mercedes-Benz E-Class | On request | ₹500 |
| BMW | On request | ₹500 |
| Mercedes-Benz GLS | On request | ₹500 |
| Tempo Traveller | On request | ₹600 |
| Mini bus (21 / 24 seater) | On request | ₹600 |
Round trip, minimum 300 km per day. Fares are inclusive of GST, and the final bill is based on the actual distance travelled. Hill-station charges, interstate permits, state permits, tolls and parking are extra. One-way drop fares are confirmed when you book.
On a three-day trip, for example, each day is billed for at least 300 km, so you pay for your actual kilometres or three times the daily minimum, whichever is higher, plus three days of driver allowance and any tolls or permits along the way. For trips that end at your destination, see our one-way taxi page.
Local hire
Local fares: the 8 hr / 80 km package
Inside Bengaluru, most people book a car with driver for a block of time rather than a single drop. Our local package gives you the car for 8 hr / 80 km, whichever limit is reached first.
| Vehicle (8 hours / 80 km package) | Extra hour | Extra km |
|---|---|---|
| Sedan (Dzire / Etios) | ₹180 | ₹18 |
| Maruti Suzuki Ciaz | ₹200 | ₹20 |
| Toyota Innova | ₹200 | ₹20 |
| Toyota Innova Crysta | ₹250 | ₹23 |
The base fare for the 8 hours / 80 km package is confirmed when you book. Usage beyond the package is charged at the extra-hour and extra-km rates above. Fares are inclusive of GST; tolls, parking and permit charges are extra.
If your day runs longer, each extra hour and each extra kilometre beyond the package is charged at the rates shown in the table. That makes it easy to plan: a day of meetings across Whitefield, MG Road and Koramangala usually fits within one package, while a long shopping and sightseeing day may add an hour or two. Airport transfers
Airport taxi fares
Airport fares depend on where you are picked up or dropped, the vehicle and the time of travel, so we do not publish a fixed list. The fare for your Kempegowda International Airport transfer is confirmed when you book, before the trip starts. Airport parking or entry charges, where they apply, are paid as per actuals.
Tell us your pickup area, flight time and number of bags and we will confirm the fare and suggest a vehicle. Area-wise details are on our airport taxi pages.
Included and extra
What the fare includes and what is extra
Our taxi fare rates are quoted with GST included, so the table shows what you pay for the car and driver. Some costs depend on the route you choose and are added at actuals:
- Tolls on highways and expressways.
- Parking at temples, malls, monuments and airports.
- Interstate permit charges when the trip enters another state, such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana or Goa.
- Hill-station charges where the destination levies them.
Because these vary with the route, we cannot fix them in advance. If you share your plan, we can tell you which ones are likely to apply.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
How is the cab fare for an outstation round trip calculated?
We multiply the kilometres travelled by your vehicle’s rate, with a minimum of 300 km for each day of the trip, then add the driver allowance for each day. Tolls, parking, permits and hill-station charges are added at actuals.
Is GST included in the taxi fare?
Yes. The rates shown in our tables include GST.
What happens if my local booking goes beyond 8 hr / 80 km?
The extra time and distance are charged at the extra-hour and extra-kilometre rates in the local table. You can extend on the day; just tell the driver.
Why don't you list a fixed airport taxi fare?
Airport fares change with the pickup area, vehicle and time of travel. We confirm the fare when you book, so you know it before you travel. See our airport taxi page.
Do I pay tolls and parking separately?
Yes. Tolls, parking and interstate permits are not part of the rate because they depend on the route. They are paid as per actuals.
