Airport transfer
Bangalore Airport to Art of Living Ashram Cab
The Art of Living International Centre is on the southern fringe of Bengaluru, a long way from the airport. If you are landing for a course, a retreat or a visit, a pre-booked cab spares you the search for transport after a flight.
The journey
From Kempegowda Airport to the Art of Living campus
The ashram stands in the Udayapura area off Kanakapura Road, in the green outskirts south of the city. From the airport you cross Bengaluru from north to south before the road opens up into quieter countryside.
| To Kempegowda International Airport | About 56 km, about 55 min of driving |
| From the airport | About 57 km, about 55 min of driving |
| Main roads | NH 948, NH 44 |

These are route-planner figures without traffic or stops. The roads named are NH 948 and NH 44. Kanakapura Road in particular can be slow on weekday evenings, so allow more time than the figures suggest.
Who goes
Course participants, devotees and families
The International Centre is well known as the headquarters campus associated with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and people travel here from all over the world for meditation and breathing programmes, retreats and satsangs. Many arrive at the airport in groups: friends who enrolled in the same course, or a family visiting a relative at the campus.
Because most visitors do not know the city, a direct cab from the arrivals area to the campus gate is a calm way to begin the stay. If you are leaving, a pickup from the ashram to the airport avoids the worry of finding a ride from a place far from the main road.
Practical tips
Before you travel
- Confirm your course dates and check-in arrangements with the organisers. Entry rules belong to the campus, not to us.
- Share your flight number and whether you land at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.
- Tell us the exact gate or reception point so the driver knows where to stop.
- For departures, leave early. The drive back to the airport is long, and your airline’s check-in cut-off still applies.
Visitors who also want to see the city can pair the transfer with our Bangalore sightseeing taxi.

Cabs for solo travellers and groups
A solo participant fits comfortably in a sedan. Families with luggage and groups of friends are better in an Innova or Innova Crysta, and a larger batch travelling together can ask about the Tempo Traveller. We confirm the fare when you book.
